How to Manage Past and Upcoming Events From the Admin Dashboard

Welcome to our guide on how to use our past and upcoming events management tools for MABS admins.


Managing Upcoming Events

If you would like view the number of people who have RSVP'd for a future event as well as see a detailed list of those who have RSVP'd, this is the place to go.

Step 1: Sign in with MABS Administrator Enabled Google Account and Navigate to the Admin Dashboard

In order to view this information, you must be signed in to an account with MABS Admin permissions. Once signed in on an admin enabled account, you will see an Admin Tools button appear on the tool bar. Click on this button and it will take you to the Admin Dashboard.

Step 2: Find the Event Management Portion of the Admin Dashboard

Upcoming and past events are managed under a tab called Event Management about halfway down the Admin Dashboard page, from here you can click on the Upcoming Events button to expand and view the events.

Step 3: View Both General and Specific Information of Upcoming Events

Once you expand the upcoming events section, you will see all upcoming events listed on the page along with information such as the event name, the event date, the number of RSVPs recieved so far, a button to view details. Upon clicking the view details button, you will see this same information along with a complete list of members who have RSVP'd to this event.

Managing Past Events

If you would like view the number of people who have RSVP'd or checked in for a past event as well as see a detailed list of those who have RSVP'd or checked in, this is the place to go.

Step 1: Sign in with MABS Administrator Enabled Google Account and Navigate to the Admin Dashboard

In order to view this information, you must be signed in to an account with MABS Admin permissions. Once signed in on an admin enabled account, you will see an Admin Tools button appear on the tool bar. Click on this button and it will take you to the Admin Dashboard.

Step 2: Find the Event Management Portion of the Admin Dashboard

Upcoming and past events are managed under a tab called Event Management about halfway down the Admin Dashboard page, from here you can click on the Past Events button to expand and view the events.

Step 3: View Both General and Specific Information of Past Events

Once you expand the past events section, you will see all past events listed on the page along with information such as the event name, the event date, the number of RSVPs for that event, the number of check ins for that event, and a button to view details. Upon clicking the view details button, you will see this same information along with a complete list of members who have RSVP'd and/or to this event. Where in the below example it says "Checked in and RSVP'd", it would say a message correlating to that user's RSVP and attendance record for that event if they had done just one of the two.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during the event management process, here are a few tips:

  • Ensure you're selecting the correct Google account, one which has administrative access to the app.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Past events do not get deleted as they are important for book keeping with points as well as for org use, so the list can get to be quite long, if you are having trouble finding your desired event, try using Ctrl+f and begin entering the event name or date to find the event quickly.
